| Making A PurchaseMaking a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept card payments. If you are shopping from outside of the UK, place your order as normal and your card company will convert the transaction from GBP to your own currency. We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, please call us immediately on 01865 759200 and we will correct the mistake. When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. | Shipping And HandlingAll products are shipped as soon as possible. Delivery charges are based on the total weight of the products ordered, delivery address and the urgency required. If you are prepared to wait a little longer for your delivery then the shipping charges can often be reduced, please email us at sales@blanchford.co.uk for a quotation. Please note that there is a shipping surcharge for deliveries outside of mainland UK. This will be applied to your order at the time of delivery and will not appear on your confirmation. |
| Delivery ScheduleWe aim to deliver your order right away. We will normally get your order to you in 3-5 business days. International orders are generally received in under 7 days. You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. Delivery of bulk items requiring palletised delivery Deliveries to business or private addresses without forklift facilities can be made by using tail-lifts if the following criteria are met The access to the premises is both level and smooth The customer is present during delivery to accept the goods Please note we do not manually carry consignments to the interior of the customer's premises however we will endeavour to place the pallet in any position that is of assistance to facilitate easier off-loading later. If the driveway etc. is gravelled then the pallet will be placed as close as possible to the customer's premises with the customer's agreement If a delivery was to be refused then an additional charge may possibly be incurred by the customer for re-delivery. |
